An exciting opportunity is now available in the Engineering Infrastructure team directly reporting to the Control & Instrumentation Engineering Team Leader . You will fit into a highly skilled team that ensures the integrity of generation assets across fuel groups and provides operational engineering support.

To be successful for this role you will need to be able to demonstrate the following

  • Graduate degree in Electrical/Control Engineering or equivalent tertiary qualification
  • 4+ years relevant work experience
  • Technical expertise with DCS/PLC/HMI and plant control networks
  • An ability to demonstrate a high level of problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the capability to participate in and lead project teams
  • An understanding of the commercial and technical aspects of electrical generating plant, as well as ancillary systems and their performance
  • Provide operational engineering or maintenance support to generation assets
  • Excellent commercial analysis of engineering projects.

A good understanding of current Health and Safety legislation and have experience in risk management
