Ohaaki Forecasting
Contact Energy / 1985 – 2024
Developed numerical models of Ohaaki to assist with field management and planning for the future, including support for renewal of resource consents.
Tauhara 2 Project, New Zealand
Contact Energy / 2009 – 2024
We supported Contact Energy with the recently completed development of the Tauhara 2 power project. Using our reservoir model of the Wairakei-Tauhara geothermal system, calibrated to 60 years of production data, we provided forecast scenarios.
PGE IPO Resource Assessment, Indonesia
PGE / 2022
Carried out an independent resources assessment of the Lahendong and Kamojang geothermal fields including their response to future production scenarios. The results of these studies were included in the prospectus for their Initial Public Offering in 2022.
East Brawley, USA
Phoenix Lithium / 2023
Provided resource assessment of the amount of recoverable lithium from geothermal brine in the East Brawley geothermal field. Forecasts of lithium extraction were optimised using targeted production and reinjection.
